Meet the Characters
Ugonna (Ugo)First Appearance: "Unique Names"
Opaque. Ugondle. Ugo. It's all him. Besides being the title character, Ugo is an outgoing, quirky and self-expressive person. He isn't afraid to share how he feels about something, even at the expense of his own self-esteem, which can sometimes be "provoked" by Gabe and Sam in a joking way. Regardless, he is very opinionated, creative, and imaginative. But can also be stubborn and grumpy. He can often joke around, and can be kind of silly as well, but in the end he isn't afraid to state his opinions even if he'll be proven wrong, like in "Unique Names", or even complain a lot. In "Creativity" we learn that he has yet to fully express himself, and we see him learn to break free in the episodes following. Ugo is quite creative and talented to, especially when we learn about his ability to rap in "Bus Ride Shenanigans" |
Brynn (Brynnbo)First Appearance: "Unique Names"
Brynn is not as naive as she may seem. Brynnbo is very intelligent, and even more outgoing person. She can argue and has a very interesting personality as well. As seen in "Unique Names" and "Winter Pet-Peeves" she can argue and can get her opinions out there. She's not very fond of picking on Ugo or anybody like the others, but that definitely does not mean she can't. Brynn also has a very good taste in music along with other characters. Her piano skirt (season 1) represents this. In "Band Geeks" it's revealed that she plays the oboe, and often listens to music heard in the school band. She's often shown her smarts to her friends, but can sometimes be naive as well. And has been seen with a bit of an attitude and an apathetic mood occasionally. Regardless, she can be very passionate about things and caring to her friends, as seen in "Young Hearts". |
Gabe (Gabendo)First Appearance: "Ugo vs. Sports"
Gabe is the most logical, and the smart one of the group. The others have commented frequently about his use of big words and logic, and often makes Ugo feel dumb over it. Although smart and mature, he can joke around, as seen in "Band Geeks" and "A Last Minute Christmas Video" often at Ugo's expense. Gabe is a mature, logical, musical, and geeky kid. Gabe, also plays an instrument (Tuba) and wears a tri-force, from the Legend of Zelda, hoodie (season 1). Despite how mature and his use of big words may be intimidating, he is very caring, and will say what needs to be said to help, as a joke, or in a serious tone, as seen in "Creativity". He may seem like a jerk at time, but he has a big heart, most notably in "Culture Shocked" and "Young Hearts". |
Hannah (Hannifer)First Appearance: "Ugo vs. Sports"
Hannifer is one of the more silly and extroverted characters. She can be quirky and is very opinionated. She's very outgoing and will defend anything she's passionate about as seen in "A Last Minute Christmas Video". She may not seem like it, but Hannah is very smart as much as she is silly. She can be very quirky as well as seen in "Winter Pet-Peeves" while defending the good parts about the Winter season, and in "ALMCV", while trying to convince Brynn that decor is the most important part of the Christmas season. Hannah definitely has the biggest attitude in the group. She isn't afraid to prove someone wrong and will speak her mind if needed like in "Culture Shocked" and "Bus Ride Shenanigans". Hannah plays basketball, and in addition, can be heard using phrases or words unique to her. |
Sam (Samurai)First Appearance: "Ugo vs. Sports"
"Don't be a SIX!" Sam is a very expressive and extroverted person. Despite being a little extra, his open personality is lovable and can make Ugo and Co crack up at any minute. Sam also has a little in common with Gabe when it comes to picking on Ugo. The kid can be adventurous at times, and isn't afraid to tell the truth if something seems fishy in any of Ugo's stories. Sam is also very confident. He is knwon for joking around, and is a lot more "cool" than most of the other characters. His high amount of confidence has put him in many situations, including a battle against a Naruto-like Abraham. He is also the most up to date with real life pop culture and media. As he wears a Flash hoodie in Season 1. |
AbrahamFirst Appearance: "A Last Minute Christmas Video"
Abraham, also a musician, is a very funny and talented character, but is often ridiculed by Ugo, yet referred to as brother by him. He can be very silly, and definitely has his "dumb" moments, but is still loved by Ugo and and his friends, despite his mishaps. Abraham is also a proud Muslim as well. He plays the drums, and is from Tanzania. He is definitely a good use for comic relief, but Abraham can be mature, and will fight for what he cares about, even if it's over a video game like in "Video Game Addicts" |
